Routine determination of CO2 content in bottled and canned beverages requires fast, precise, easy-to-handle and recoverable method. CO2 content control measuring device, CBL modification, allows fast determination of CO2 content.
The device is automatic and ensures high level of results repeatability. A bottle or a can is placed into ultrasonic bath, and an opening is automatically made in this bottle/can. The headspace gas is released by means of blow-off valve and the vessel is subjected to ultrasonic exposure in order to create equilibrium pressure. CO2 content is calculated based on Henry’s law, using equilibrium pressure and temperature data.
